New parent tours

If you have a child who is due to start Primary school in September 2025, we would like to invite you to attend one of our face-to-face parent tours on:

Our Headteacher

I am proud to be the Headteacher of Carlton Hill Primary School. Our school vision is ‘Kind Hearts and Curious Minds.’ To this end, we help our children to develop their self-confidence and encourage them to be kind and to respect one another. We also promote a ‘growth mindset’ amongst children (and adults!) which encourages creativity, risk taking and a thirst for learning.

Our long standing ethos “Fair means that everyone gets what they need, not that everyone gets the same” means that we support our children and families, in many different ways, to thrive at our school. Finally, we are part of a strong partnership of local schools, BCPfE (Brighton City Partnership for Education) which give us important opportunities to share good practice, training and resources across the city.

We strongly encourage visits to our one form entry school so that you can meet our friendly children and staff, browse around our well-resourced school and enjoy the award winning grounds!
