Puzzles

You are shown two doors - one leading to hell and the second one to heaven and only the door guards know what is behind the doors. One guard is always lying and the other is always telling the truth (of course, you don't know who is lying). You can ask only one guard one question.
What question can get you to heaven?

A fellow encountered a bear in a wasteland. Both got frightened - fellow ran to the north, bear to the west. Suddenly the fellow stopped, aimed his gun to the south and shot the bear.
What color was the bear?

Three missionaries and three cannibals want to get to the other side of a river. There is a small boat, which can fit only two. To prevent a tragedy, there can never be more cannibals than missionaries together.
How could all of them get safely across the river?

Sport: Brighton to stay up?

Brighton edged closer to Premier League safety with a hard-earned point against a much-changed Tottenham side.

Harry Kane's 26th league goal of the season, following Gaetan Bong's error, put Spurs in sight of an 11th away win.

But Brighton were behind for just two minutes before Pascal Gross levelled with an excellent penalty after Serge Aurier had caught Jose Izquierdo.

The Seagulls are without a win in six games but are eight points above the relegation zone with four games left.

Stoke City have chosen  Paul Lambert as the club’s new manager.

The former Wolverhampton and Blackburn head coach has replaced Mark Hughes, who was sacked after Stoke’s loss  in the third round of the FA Cup to Coventry. Paul has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract.

News from around the world

A 14-year-old with a vocabulary comprising four or five rudimentary words may not sound impressive. However, it sure is when the speaker happens to be an orca, or killer, whale!

On February 13, 17-year-old Chloe Kim made history at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, when she became the youngest woman to medal in the halfpipe.

With over 3,500 exoplanets confirmed as of January 2018 and more being observed on a regular basis, the discoveries have become almost routine. However, all the planets found thus far have been within the Milky Way, the galaxy that contains our solar system. Now, scientists from the University of Oklahoma believe they may have found evidence of trillions of planets beyond our galaxy.
